Welcome back to another week in Kinder Course at No Borders.
For the past two weeks, we were lucky enough to have some guest teachers in our class! We used Skype with teacher Tara while she was visiting her family in America.
It was nice seeing someone that we know so well on Skype!
After that, Guest Teacher Dion used our two rock climbing walls in a lesson in bouldering!
Everyone did a great job using the strength of their bodies to scale the walls.
On another day, Guest Teacher Doston came and played many games with us.
We talked about many different kinds of food, and we were able to do Mochi Tsuki one more time! I think everyone had a lot of fun on this day.
We were also lucky enough to receive some Gummy making kits from one of our students' families. Everyone was so happy to see that the gummies were shaped like our beloved class pets, the beetle.
It was a little bit strange to eat food in the shape of an insect, but everyone worked really hard to exercise their fine motor skills by delicately pouring the different powders into the beetle molds. The most difficult part of the lesson was pulling out the gummy after it had hardened, but it was delicious nonetheless!
See you next week, Tiki Tots!
